SXSW Interactive 2012
This was my second year to attend South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive. Like last year, I had an absolute blast and loved meeting up with so many amazing people. I made it a point to attend many more meetups and parties this year and the difference was beyond comparison!
I knew before even going that I wanted to do a SlideShare presentation to highlight what I saw and heard/read on Twitter. So I’m very pleased with the result as I think it captures my experience with the conference.
Not Creative Commons Pics (GASP!)
Last year I forgot to charge my camera battery (noob mistake) as well as actually BRING the battery charger. Thus, no pics.
I did not make that same mistake again this year.
For the first time since I’ve started doing presentation design, the photographs are 100% mine. Everything you see in this presentation is from my camera.
All in all, I ended up taking around 500 pictures. While many were of the same thing (I have around 200 alone of the fire jugglers) I felt that this sampling was perfect to convey the experience…without incriminating anyone who was drinking with me at the after parties.
