My Public Declaration of Intent
The word ‘manifesto’ is used so often that people have forgotten its actual definition: A public declaration of intent.
I mean for this manifesto to live up to its definition.
Announcing…
The ANTI-Resume Movement
My dream job is to be the voice of a brand that is making the world a better place. No resume will ever fill that position. One to three sheets of paper isn’t enough to convince someone to let that happen. It just doesn’t make sense.
So I’m changing the rules of engagement.
I’m ditching the resume and demonstrating that I know how to do that which I want to do. Anyone reading this will have arrived here as a direct result of my efforts to be the voice of THIS brand.
My Invitation
My invitation is two-fold:
- If you represent a brand that is making the world a better place, I’d love to hear from you and start a conversation.
- If you are a victim of the resume process, I invite you to join me in the ANTI-Resume Movement.
Regardless of which one you are, I believe WE can make the world a better place by combining our superpowers.
View the manifesto below and consider my invitation. I’d love to combine our superpowers!

Outstanding. Your presentation not only does it make me want to work on a similar presentation for myself, it is very encouraging. I especially like your plan to develop more superpowers every 5 years. The problem I have run into is by reading that many books (I made it through 40 in 2011) I am not implementing as much as I should. I keep notes but rarely refer back to those notes. Do you have any suggestions for implementing those ideas? What books have you been reading? Thanks
Love it. Good stuff
Hello David, Your presentation seems to be immensely great.
You made me realize that I too have some super powers.
I am ready to combine these super power of mine with yours to start spreading the Word “My Anti Resume Manifesto”.
Hey David,
I appreciate your anti-resume manifesto. Also your presentation was quite interesting. You need to show your ordinary skills in an extra ordinary way. I think you are that extra ordinary. Hope this work for you to get your dream job.
All the very best,
Janet Steward
